Amanita Films is a young film company created by Iván Patiño in 2010. It is an independent company with two different production lines: Experimental (Documentaries, independent films) and conventional (Commercial cinema, promotional videos...)
It is also a personal project, in which I will be always present as a graphic designer, photographer and supporter.
The name of the company is a tribute to our grandfather. He dedicated his life not only to the study of mushrooms, but also he used to paint adn writte poetry. For that reason, I decided to use an Amanita mushroom, a well known, bright red and white variety.
As a result we have a memorable brand that is strong, young and identifiable with the aim of the company: film, as the mushroom also seconds as a film reel.

The label represents the idea of mixing or combine a drink.
Redesign stationary and product catalogues for Curtidos Coiro, a big supplier company of products related with upholstery and shoemakers. Curtidos Coiro is a large company without a properly implemented brand identity in the market.
They have a strong and memorable symbol, but they have not developed the proper visual identity.
Besides the main logo, we provide the company with another representative logo, the warehouse building, as a meaning of communication with the costumer.
This building was exclusively designed for Curtidos Coiro, and Coiro is one of the major industries in town (Monforte de Lemos, Spain), so the warehouse image is easily recognised and contains a powerful emotional connection.
Brand Identity for the Feminine Ribeira Sacra Volleyball Club, based in Galicia, Spain.
The brand represents the most iconic element in Ribeira Sacra, the vineyards, formed through the lines of a volley ball.
Software HUB design for Quintessentially Magazine that allows private users to upload, download and search documents and images related to the Magazine.
Full screen and easy user experience. The dashboard displays all current issues that are being added to and also displays an activity feed which allows users to see a live timeline of interaction with the HUB.

When I visited the place I saw a lot of empty spaces, lonely rooms and I felt loose in this "city." I used music to fix this problem up. Barbican is something subjective for me.
I think everyone has a different opinion about this space. The same happens with the music, it is something subjective.
Esliva is the first film of Amanita Films, directed by Lois Patiño, an important independent filmmaker based in Madrid. The locations of the film are the beautiful landscapes of "Ribeira Sacra" in Galicia, Spain. Plastic and intimate film, where mystery, magic and fear join together.
The film shows the everyday life of a wandering hermit in dialogue with the Nature by rituals and premonitions. The image is processed by filters which look for the representation of the main character mystical state, obtaining a result that approaches to paintings.
A Coward. France 1870. The film is set in a small village in Normandy, France. Viscount Signoles Joseph decides, in a burst of gallantry, to fight a duel with a stranger to defend the honour of a woman. The unknown unfolds and causes Signoles to fight the duel with himself in the end.
The aim of the project is to provide "Un Cobarde" (A Coward) with an identity so that it can compete in different festivals in Europe. The aim of the project is to provide an identity to “Un Cobarde” and make of it a suitable film to be shown in different festivals in Europe.
The event of the duel was the main idea for the design. The silhouette is the same for each side to reflect Signoles duel with himself. Moreover, it is a powerful symbol, memorable and denotes the époque.

A romantic and metaphorical story about Claudio and Sofía.Two individuals living in opposing worlds, two souls linked by a common destiny.
Claudio is stuck in a boring routine until Sofía becomes his next door neighbour. They don´t know they were made for each other until destiny decides to do something about it. All the furniture in Claudio´s house suddenly disappears and appears atSofía´s place. Everything, except the painting "Birthday" by Marc Chagall.

Dr. Valmonte comes back to the "Bellavista" psychiatric hospital searching for amissing patient, Simón Feito, who disappeared two years ago. When he arrives at the clinic he discovers that Simón is alive and living at the ward.
The schizophrenic patient talks about "Deil," a friend of him. But does Deil exist? Valmonte will discover that Deil is real, dangerous and a thief of identities.
The design is based on these ideas: Danger, the duality of real and unreal, and thief of identities.
Proposal created for Antigua's most romantic restaurant, Sheer Rocks.
Full screen, parallax effect long scrolling site in some pages, and fully responsive for all screen sizes, including tablet and smart phones.
The long landing page will act as an introduction to the restaurant and also a jumping point to every section within the site, with a book button that will jump to a full screen form.
The design focus on the spectacular surroundings, featuring several videos across the website, and a quick access with a pull out menu with the feed of Instagram.

Design the brand for the 23 National Congress of Booksellers 2013 in Vigo, Galicia, Spain. It is an important event and it is the first time that it occurs in Galicia.
The symbol was created by utilizing the relevant initials (Galicia, Congress, Libreros (booksellers) and Vigo). Moreover, the logo's design was based on the petroglyphs or rock engravings of Galicia. These abrasions and incisions are emblematic of Galicia's heritage and very recognizable among its inhabitants.
Handsome Dan´s is a candy shop situated in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn NYC. They only had its logo, but they didn´t have the implementation properly developed until my proposal.
It is a retro candy shop, so that means that the target is less younger and more mature people more than children. The Shop is retro designed with all the american candies from the past.
Three different proporsals with different elements in the packaging:
1. Proposal "Flavour Faces": Based on the different funny faces you show when you try a new flavour.
2. Proporsal "Handsome Hair": Brand identity based on the hair of the logo, as the most representative element of the owner of the shop.
3. Proporsal "Retro Candies": New element recognizable in the logo, the awning, and typographic background with the candies.
